Stoke House Carcoar Bed & Breakfast is located in the historic town of Carcoar NSW. Dating back to the 1820’s, Thomas Icely settled on a 68 acre block on the southern bank of the Belubula River which he called “Saltash Farm”. In 1846 a two story brick hotel, “The Victoria Hotel” was constructed.

The name “Stoke” began to appear in August 1855 with “Stoke Cottage”, the main house on the property was named “Stokefield”and the stables were named “Stoke Stables”. In 1875 “The Victoria Hotel” was doubled in size and renamed “Stoke Hotel”.

In January 1937 Charles Heavener bought the “Stoke Hotel” and converted it into a private dwelling. Then in May 1944 Thomas Jones bought the hotel and temporarily relicensed it.
In February 1952 the hotel was sold to the Healey sisters who renamed it “Stoke House”.

In 2001 Stoke House was converted to its current format of a Bed & Breakfast and Café by John and Liz Campbell. Late 2013 Philip and Ellen Cram became the new hosts of Stoke House, bringing with them 30 years of hospitality experience and flare.
